Block doesn't collect your data. Seriously. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics.
YouTube playlists: When you paste a playlist URL, Block fetches the video titles from YouTube's public API. This data is only used to create your calendar events and is never stored or sent anywhere else.
Your calendar: Block requests permission to add events to your calendar. It only creates events — it doesn't read, modify, or delete your existing calendar data.
Block stores the IDs of calendar events it creates, locally on your device only. This allows potential future features like bulk-deleting events you created. This data never leaves your device.
YouTube API: Block uses YouTube's API to fetch playlist information. YouTube's privacy policy applies to their service: Google Privacy Policy
Apple Calendar: Events are created using Apple's EventKit framework and stored in your device's calendar app.
